    bmwlight.com plastic lens w/ HIDs?

i just wanted to make sure of things before i do any ordering,

i will have 6000k 35w HID's on my low beams.
a single OEM glass lens will cost $73.23 versus
a pair of plastic replica lenses for $44.99..

i'm just very concerned with the plastic lens having to withstand the HID's heat.
i've read that JasonC has them for his H1 euro low beams,
not sure if he has the same HID setup, nor the same brand, if that matters,
does anyone else have any experiences regarding this?
someone who has 9006 US ellipsoids like i do?

it will be on a daily driven car,
and i have night classes. lol.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hid's drive less heat than Halogens and use less power.
