    brake lights!

my brake light warning on the check panel lit up. so as soon as i pulled over, i checked the bulbs if any of them were out, nope, took them out and reseat them on the bulb holder.. all rear lights work except for the brakes.. so i checked the fusebox, fuse 6 and 10 were fine. so just for reassurance i bought new bulbs for the brake lights and rear lights. still nothing. the center light also was not working, but i havent gotten there and checked if that bulb was out.. would that break the circuitry and cause the brake lights to not work?

.. would i need to take out the whole rear parcel shelf to access the bulb on the center light?

.. once i have replaced the bulb where should i start checking for faults?

all help would be greatly appreciated.
i need it fixed asap. i have a night class tomorrow.

so after a few searches, i found this:

so i went under there and found the brake switch.
it's too bad the dealer is closed on sundays so i cant get the switch today.

anyway. i discovered this mysterious oily greenish liquid that wet my floormat, and the leak marks seem to be coming from next to the foot vent/blower. i dont see the droplets happening but there's a trail of it on the carpet. does anyone know what it is or where it is coming from?

Sounds like your heater coolant lines or the core are leaking.

        thanx for the input.
i have remedied this by wiping the trail of the leak and wrapping it with a lil bit of electrical tape, i then put a thin plastic sheet to keep any further leaks in and not on my damn oem floormats =( it's kinda mickeymouse job but it'll do temporarily.

my brake lights are now working though!
but damn. $37 for that stop light switch from the stealership.
