Are smileys L/R specific?

Are E-Code smileys with integrated citi-lights Left or Right specific?

Does anyone know?


EDIT: I looked at the lenses again, they are the same lenses....but are the internals side specific?...anyone?

The smilies I have, with city lights, are side-specific for mounting purposes.

They are not the same. You can swap the projector, but not the lens housing.
