How to wire foglights as daytime running lights?

    it wouldnt be hard to wire the headlights to an power source which is always on. theres gotta be some electrical nut who can figure that out pretty quick.

      Any update on this thread? I'm in the same boat.

      Funny how I've seen several e30's out here older than mine,1988 and none of them have DRL's on them ( I see them driving, but no headlights).

        As I stated I took it to a Canadian Tire for inspection and the DRL requirement was not needed.

          Pop out your headlight switch connector, de-pin then connect the Yellow/green wire to ground.

          Pass inspection.

          Re-pin connector.
