    HID install help!

I've had this DDM HID kit for months and I can't seem to figure out how to install it.

I know what parts connect to the bulbs themselves, but how the heck does this plug into my existing harness?

I've got the lights out of my car right now, and nothing plugs into that. Will I have to splice this connector and the wires together or what?

EDIT: Its important to note that this is (supposed to be) a H1 kit, i have euro ellipsoids.

I think that's uses the 9005 connector? Someone please correct me if i'm wrong. You'll need to get the female end to plug into that.

Edit. Maybe 9006. Or is that the same connector?

looks like you can get a us ellips connector to plug in there. But either way you have to splice wires.

Haha, figures. I got rid of the 9005's for the H1's, so now i have to splice it all back together.

Ok I just looked at my ddm kit. The connector your holding hooks up another connector supplied in the kit...maybe thats what missing?

If you look at it... The bulb has 3 wires coming out. 2 of them go to the other two plugs in the picture, and the 3rd can go that plug i'm holding up. But I dont think it has anything to do with power... because if all 3 are plugged in, where does teh HID get power from?

I think the plug i'm holding up is suppose to go to the H1 or 9005 from the car. And then the other two go to the bulb itself.

Either way, it doesn't plug into anything in the car, and the other plugs only plug into eachother.

the 2 smaller plugs go into the bulb themselves. what you are holding is the 9005 plug.youll need to find 2 elipsoid plugs and change your wires over to add the plug.

I cut those off for the euro ellipsoids! Sigh, thanks for the help.
