I ordered the HID kit, one of the bulbs is dead. Now I have to wait 5 days for them to send a return label, another 5 days for them to receive the bulbs. God knows how long it will take for them to check the broken bulb. Another 5 days for them to get a new bulb to me. Very unhappy with DDM Tuning, and they don't refund kits. Shitty problem solving. :hitler:

My roommate bought an angel eye kit from them for his e36 and when we put it in one of the angel eye rings was dead. It took like 2 weeks to get a replacement and when he did guess what... that ring is dead too! We checked the wiring and everything is good. DDM sucks and barely stand behind their products. Who sends ANOTHER faulty angel eye ring as a replacement? Isn't there someone checking for that sort of thing? The grilles really distract you from the fact that someone took a sledgehammer to the front end.

I don't think you guys understand how this stuff works at the sellers' end.
Basically, it comes down to how fast can you get a box out the door.
Shitty profit margins means lack of quality control.
THAT is why I don't sell shit online, believe me, I could.
I only sell boxes that I build myself, at basically a loss, because I actually care about my reputation. My rep says I am generally very slow to ship, but I don't collect until I ship, and I want as close to perfect as I can pull off.
I am only huuman, so I fuck up too...but no one here is "just a worker", unlike anyone doing primarily online sales (as in reboxing and shipping).
Other guys like Massive, Colegrove...actual manufacturers who care about their rep, THAT is what to buy online.
Companies that sell (reboxed) boxes of product just get shipped, no QC applied.

Doesn't matter, I pay for something, I expect to get what I pay for - WORKING PRODUCT. If it doesn't work, ship out a replacement as fast as possible with a label to ship the broken product back. DDM Tuning sucks, their customer service sucks, and their products suck. I'm not gonna talk shit about you Luke, I like your work, and agree with your ethics but not in this scenario.

you get what you pay for.
what does that mean? if you want an HID kit that is quality and is going to last, get yourself a phillips or bosch HID kit. they cost about $300 nowadays. all these shitty chinese knockoff HID kits are garbage, thats why i only buy them locally from a shop i know, so if that shit is bad, they just change it out for me and say sorry. buying that shit online, psh good luck.IG: @Baye30

Hey OP, you do realize there is a transaction feedback section on here right? Post it in there that way you don't start an interwebz battle between you and someone that likes DDM. That way, the only people that will be looking at the thread will be posting their own views and results on the product, product quality and customer service.

I've had the same set of HID's in my lasy 3 or 4 cars over the past 3 years. They were from Apexcone which is now DDM Tuning. Work great! I just ordered another 5 sets when they were cheap last month. I have no complaints.Originally posted by Simon SWhen a dream is a dream for too long - it becomes a fantasy..
