    Anyone run 100w fog lights?

Specifically I am doing it in the early european fog lights.

Im wanting to run some yellow lights for the fogs since I only really turn them on in, well, fog and rain. The only catch is it seems the reputable brands only make them in higher wattages, or at least that is all I can find. I dont really care for them to be yellow all the time so I dont really care for the film.

Im just wanting to know if anyone has run H3s that high with no ill effect.
    Im now E30less.

I have 85w Hella Yellowstars in my late-model fogs with the acrylic replacement lenses. No issues with them at all. I ordered them from Summit Racing.

I ran some 100watt sylvania three times in my late fogs, but they burn out quicker than my 55watt wich is mind bogling to me?

If they were Silverstars, they run hotter than regular bulbs, and so they burn out faster. Yellow is better for bad-weather visibility, anyway.

So...PIAA isn't reputable? I've been running mine for a while with no problem. Been a good 2 years or so.

They're 55watt, the 85watt is BS, it supposedly has the same light ourput as 85w

Not the Silverstars; I ran the regular H3 bulbs every single time, but by when I said burnout fast, I meant 2-3 tops.

I ran some silverstar 100w H3 in my late fogs and it was awesome, since i didn't turn him one when it's clear out, they lasted a while until i jumped a curbed but that's another story.
