I have had both. I like the way the Hella's disperse the light.

Bosch did make euro ellipsoids. I do know, though, that Bosch reflectors won't work in Hella euro ellipsoids, and Hella reflectors won't work in Bosch euro ellipsoids.

supposedly the reflector in a bosch light is made of metal. I know that the reflector in a hella light is made of plastic.

By now, most lights have crappy old reflectors anyways, and it is best to buy new ones from the dealer. You can only buy hella reflectors new. Bosch are discontinued.

    HELLA vs. BOSCH

So, I was wondering what the difference was between Hella Smiley Ellipsoids and Bosch Smiley Ellipsoids...
Is one better quality than the other?
What are they made with that could be different?
Is it just a matter of opinion?
or does one project light better?
    Thanks alot,
Working...
