Side view mirrors signal lighting?

IS there a way we could put side view mirror left and right indicator lighting? I think it would be a cool thing to do and would probably not be toooooo hard. Just run extra wires from the signals through the door and mount a few LEDs on the mirrors somewhere. I think it would be nice. What do yall think?
