    left blinker stays on

when I turn my lights on my left blinker stays lit so it doesn't blink when I have my lights on.

I have searched and replaced all of the bulbs in my trunk as a precaution to no avail. I grabbed my handy dandy volt meter and am getting power on my left blinker when I should not have voltage. when my lights arn't on everything works but it confuses my check panel when I put my left blinker on and lights on my license plate light and my rear light go on.

Is this something easy to fix or do i have to go wire by wire and find the short. I have heard of people having this problem so its not uncommon.

well I had my cluster out of the car so I swapped around bulbs in the cluster, thats not the problem! it was worth a shot while the cluster was out though.

checked all the grounds in the back and they all seem to have continuity. I'm gonna pull the front bumper and check out the connector up there.

Sounds like a bad ground causing the light to ground through the parking light filament.

yea I guess the connector wasn't connected properly up front, what a pain in the ass it is to get to the blinker connector
