    Hi-beams don't work after replacement?

I bought some cheapo auto-pal lights off of ebay. for 45$ i got two h4 low-beams w/ city lights and two h1 hi-beams. The low's wired up fine and work great, but the hi's required me to cut the stock harness end off, and wire up the two hot leads to a single positive connector, and the ground, to a ground connector, to plug into the new hi-beam enclosures.

I used a multitester to test that there was 12-13V DC going through the new positive connector, before i plugged them into the lights.

Then, once i turned the lights on, the hi's wouldn't work, low's perform beautifully.

So i got out my multitester again and tested to make sure current was flowing. Now it isn't? i tested the bulb itself for resistance and found it to be at 2-3ohms, which indicates to me that the filament inside is fine.

So i figured i must've screwed something up somehow, and went about wiring up the second lighting assembly. Same problem. Had current before i tried the light w/ the new connectors, but once it got initial powerflow, no current runs anymore.

Also, when i turn on my high's, my low's turn off. So it seems like there is no power flowing to anything related to the hi-beam system, since the h4's in the low's are dual filament, they should be staying lit once it kicks over to hi's.

Wtf did i do? How do i fix it?

    Check your fuses and relays.

upgraded wattage bulbs in the highs will blow the factory 7.5A fuse no sweat. Upgrade to a 15A

Yup, that's what happens. But I'm running 10A fuses with 100w high beams and they're okay.

thanks. picked up an assorted pack with a few of everything, along with a free tester tool for 15$ all in all @ schucks. You guys were right! those two were blown, all the others test good. I replaced them with 15A fuses and the lights work great! now i gotta aim these suckers cause they're WAY messed up:)
