    interior and glovebox light problem

I am having problems with my interior lights. They don't come on when doors are opened. Any ideas what to check?
Also my glovebox light is dead, I changed new bulb but nothing, still doesn't light up:(

    thanks for any help

Have you checked the switch on the door? It doesn't work with either door open???

The key has to be turned for the glovebox light to work, btw.

LOOKING fine doesn't confirm that the switches are working correctly. Is this a sudden development, or have they never worked for you? Have you checked the bulbs?
The lights themselves have switches to be on, off, or on when the doors are opened. You need to use a test light or volt-ohm meter to assure you are getting power to the switches and the lights. I am sure there is a fuse to handle this function - do not know which one offhand.
My glove box light will work without the key in/on.
            Good luck!
