    hella 550 driving lights on 87 325is?

Has anyone successfully installed these on an early model is valence?

One of my fogs is broken and it seems like for the price used ones are going for might as well buy these new.

    Saw them here: http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp

My 550s mounted perfectly fine to the stock diving board holes. I think the iS valence fogs mount to brackets on the sides of the holes, but you may be able to just mount them into the DB to hang in that hole. They're somewhat wider and shorter than the iS fogs, though, so make sure they fit first.

If they don't fit I'm sure you could find some that do. Try rallylights.com or buy a used pair.

I'll have to check and see, but I think the holes in the valence are too far from the bumper to make use of.

I know I can just buy used ones, but I was thinking I might as well spend a few extra bucks to get some better side-of-the-road lighting.

Hoping someone has done this before so I can tell whether spending the dough for these is worth it.
