    fog light gasket?

so i took out my fog light bulbs, but the rubber gasket has expanded to total uselessness. i want to replace it, but there doesnt seem to be a part number for it? the gasket that wraps around #2.

Do you have an ACE hardware store nearby? Just take the cap and find a metric o-ring that fits in the groove. I was looking for the same thing and found an o-ring kit at work that had the right size.

        04 gasket left 2 09/1987 63171386647 $6.70
        04 gasket right 2 09/1987 63171386648

There might be another part number, ask someone with dealer access or ETK? to check.

no, thats the rectangular gasket that goes around the fog light lens. i have the part number for that from realoem. what im looking isnt even in the realoem drawing. it's a round o-ring that goes around #2 to seal the cover.

I can't find them either, and most of what I found at hardware stores is too small. You might want to try a plumbing shop.
