like it said, from morning to night the cluster was working fine and limiting at 5500 rpm, but something happened and now it goes way past 7krpms, wtf. please help

Umm, well first step would be to not rev it up that high, even if that has happened. You're going float your valves, hit a cylinder, and demolish your rockers.
Otherwise, you have a problem with your rev limiter, which is controlled by the chip IIRC. Try swapping in another ECU and seeing if the problem persists.

no its not the right rpms though, my eta used to do 60mph at 2k and now it does it at 3.5k according to the tach. im not dumb i know ill get valve float. but its not the right reading. and i swap a different ecu and problem persists. its not a problem of the ecu.
it happened once before with another cluster too.
