Try "florist foam" (at any arts and crafts store) instead of expanding foam. Just test a bit with resin to make sure it wont burn. There are several types, get the right one and it will be far easier to shape than expanding stuff.

I think it is gonna sound great! If you are going sealed, think about the bigger Titanium Power woofers...maybe even a 12, if you are willing to do some cutting. Basically, that is the same as I have, with 100% of the bass going into the cabin. That is one of the biggest tricks in getting great bass.

Do you plan on having the box go into the trunk, or just the airspace between the seats?

yeah i thought about florist foam but i've tried shaping and putting resin on the expanding insulation foam i have and it seems to work great. unfortunately i think it would be too impractical to fit a 12" sub between the seats. i wont have any of the box in the trunk, just between the seats. PLENTY of volume. since my box is funky shaped, i think a ported box would be a pain in the ass to tune. so i'm going to try sealed for now

edit: those are rear seats from an e24 btw... they match my red leather sport seats perfectly :D

Looks interesting. Can't wait to see the finished product. I wonder what it would look like with the center piece red instead of black.

Hey man, if it makes you feel better about your box not selling quickly, I have gotten no new orders at all for this round of boxes...this would be a first!
