Let’s talk about OEM pins used in round connectors like the C101. Something I discovered a couple of years ago that I just got around to writing up in the hopes it helps someone with their project. These are STILL used in BMWs today according to RealOEM and part number searches.
These terminals run almost $2 each thru most websites for Genuine BMW. But I found 2 brands of generic pins that actually fit and function correctly for around ¼ of the price. These pins are a known standard 2.5mm, non-sealed terminal system, that both ITT Cannon and TE Connectivity make compatible parts for.
