    gauges still not working right...

so i installed a new gauge cluster that rThor432 sent me. the rpm and mph gauges are still not working, but everything ells is including all the check lights. fuses 10, 12, and 21 are good and the speedometer pulse sender is plugged into the final drive. what can i trouble shoot? do you guys think it is the gauges them selves, the power getting to the gauges, or something ells. i have the bentley but i do not quite get how to check the harness connectors. the manual says connect the test light to a point on the connector and then ground (23 and ground) what is meant by "ground?" do they mean the ground under the steering column, or is there a ground point on the conector? i am bad with elecroncs. sorry guys, and thanks for the help.

checked the SI power jumper and it was on the wrong two pins so i moved it down to the bottom two pins and put the cluster back in and tried it again. still no go. im at a loss. can anyone help me out here? should i post in a different sub section? im getting really annoyed by this!

Did you change the coding plug?! It's the little plug that you pull the tabs in on both sides then pull out (located at the bottom right hand side of the cluster.) Put the coding plug from your original cluster in the new gauge cluster and it should work.
