    Odd, it doesn't list on Nakamichi's site, but it definitely is there!
    I took their mark off, you can still see remnants here but it looks factory from through the windows and usually. The flash brings it out though.

          Its my understanding that only priemum sound systems got the amp.

            Do you by chance know what the RMS output is on the CD-400?
            I havent been able to find that yet in my search for info on it. That was the one thing I liked about my Alpine, it had +/- 24W RMS power.... not earth shattering I know, but much better than the 16-18 of comparable models.
            I dont want to have to add an amp right away for the speakers, though I know that is the best way to get good sound....

              I dunno for sure, but I do know peak is 47w and that's about as high as you will get in any in dash, Alpine included. Without step up voltage amplifiers you just can't do better than that.
