stupid stero wiring question paging luke and dashboard monkey

i am replacing my kenwood deck with an alpine iPX-200 deck (no cd just digital source). is the basic harness wiring the same. like can i take the same colour wires on the kenwood deck and match them to the alpine deck. i lost the manual long ago, so i have no reference.

Yes you should be able to, assuming it isnt one of those really old fuckers with different color speaker wires. I can't remember which ones had the different color wires. It would only be the speaker wires though. If you have any doubt just pop the speakers with a battery to test location.

yellow----------------constant 12v
red-------------------switched 12v
black-----------------ground
blue------------------power antenna
blue white------------amp turn on
white/white black-----left front
gray/gray black-------right ffront
purple/purple black----left rear
green/green black-----right rear
