o2 sensor wiring help... I'm stuck.

hey guys, wondering if I could get a little knowledge thrown my way. I'm planning on replacing my narrowband O2 sensor with a JAW wideband to help tune my car (running on MegaSquirt). I'm looking at the current setup of the narrowband and trying to figure out what goes, what stays, and what goes where.... From the sensor itself, there are 5 wires..... one goes to a ground under the car, there's a single wire that goes up into the engine bay and into a wire bundle (not to be seen again.) And there a 3-wire bundle that also goes up into the engine bay and through the firewall behind the glovebox. My question is, what are these 4 wires for? I'm assuming some of them are going to my Megasquirt, but I'm not sure if it's the single wire or the bundle of three. Where are these going?

Well, you'll have two heater wires and two sensor wires. Check the colors and pin numbers against the wiring diagrams in your Bentley manual and see which is which. The last one is just shielded ground.

Is the Wideband emulating a narrowband signal?

No, not yet anyways. Have to connect it to the circuit board.
