Help- Radio/OBC not turning off with ignition.

Ok so I installed the radio well over a year ago, with no problems until the past few days. I got home from a little trip and everything was normal, but when I went out the following morning my radio and obc was on, wtf. The ignition was off, so I started the car and left. Well, when I got to my destination, I shut the car off and the radio/obc didn't power down?? After a few seconds the radio flickered like it wanted to but didn't know how. I've not pulled anything out of the dash yet, but was wondering if it were something easy like a relay or what not. Everything else is working fine.

The CD player is just a basic Dual brand one, works fine for what I need.

    Car is a '87 325es. 10/86 build. 5-speed.

Y'know, there is not really anything that will keep the ACC circuit on, except the deck (if fuxord) or the ignition switch (again, fuxord)

Unplug the deck and check later.

    GL!

Thanks Luke, I'll check it out. Is there a way to check the ignition switch with a multimeter or something? I'm lacking the convinence of a Bentley, which sucks.

I would think you could do this, but Luke correct me if I'm wrong.

          1) Meter the ignition wire. Sounds like you'll have 12v even with the key off.

          2) Unplug aftermarket deck. Meter ignition wire again with key out. Either a) you have 12v and your ignition is bad, or b) you don't have 12v and your deck is bad.

            Update...

Today my turn signals wouldn't work on my way home from work. So I was checking some things and pressed the hazard/flashers button and it basically exploded into my hand. Well I pulled over to replace it, luckily I had a spare in the trunk. Low and behold when I turned the car off get out and get in the trunk my radio and obc shut off. That was without a switch and once I installed the replacement everything is back to normal.

Very odd if I must say.

            Thanks for the help/suggestions.
