I seem to be having problems with my 1990 325i, I changed the coolant temp sensor and cleaned up the plug under the intake and I am still getting a CTS code. The car wont rev past 2k, but the problem comes and goes. My question is.....Where are all the main grounds on the car to check/clean? The ones I found thanks to a link from stereoinstaller are as follows:
1. Right shock tower
2. Inner fender behind left headlight
3. under left side of dash, above brake pedal
4. under left side rear seat backrest
5. below right side of rear seat
6. upper left side of steering column
7. trunk (obviously)
8. left subframe to engine, if that isnt the one behind the headlight.
I want to eliminate any possibility of a bad ground so I am going to clean the connections and replace wires if needed, but want to make sure I get them all. Thanks.
