So I bought this head unit

I don't like how shiny the face is, really stands out against my console..I see testors makes a flat clear spray paint. What do you think, can I paint it? Should I just leave it alone........

I have the 785 and the face is less glossy then the 775

But it would be nearly impossible to paint it as the buttons are illuminated and you would have to paint around those which would be next to impossible.

I want to paint it with..clear flat paint to knock the shine down...It looks like my black laquer waterbed from the 80's...........
