Most preferred method of keeping a sub in place

Hey yall, another noobie here asking questions. I am going to install my amp/sub/head unit this weekend and want to know what the best way is to keep my sub in place so its not smashing around while i drive. I have a 84 325e with plenty of trunkspace for the sub (12inch sony xplod in box [16x17x15, l x w x h])

I got some of those spring loaded nuts....haha that sounds funny....you know the ones that fold flat then spring open, not sure what they are called..anyway, those and some eyebolts into the round holes next to the ski pass, then cinched it tight to the opening with a ratcheting nylon cargo strap.. not very pretty but highly effective..
