Okay so I know this is just the way of the beast when it comes to E30's, but I am having an electrical issue. I cannot operate my passenger side window. It worked last week, or maybe the week prior. This a project car, so I have been working on a few things lately that may have affected this:
The driver's side window works just fine. The window locking button is the one I am afraid may have gotten some cleaning solution into it.
Should I consider hooking up a multi tester to the terminals on the passenger side window switch?
I don't know much about these cars, but i cannot imagine a blown fuse that would only affect one window.
- popped both driver & passenger door panels off to replace map pockets
- replaced handbrake section of center console
- cleaned entire dash area, some solvent may have gotten into a switch
