wipers dont work! emergency!

every time i turn my wipers on they work then they cut off and doesnt work for a while. i move the wiper lever in every position but it still dont work. could it be my wiper switch?? cause i just bought one and i checked the voltage at the connector and it was all good. it sucks cause its always raining in orlando fl and i cant see.

Sound like my car, I think it is a bad switch because if I pull back on the stalk it will work.

I had an issue like this in a late model BMW, it ended up being the wiper relay.

i changed the wiper relay too and it does the same thing. i had to stop like 4 times today cause it was pouring like hell. i really need to get this fixed..

ok i did a little more diagnosis and now i think its not my switch. i started wiggling the wiper relay and it started working again everytime i wiggle it. i dont know if the relay is bad or the connection of the fuse box is bad. i just bought a wiper switch too..

mmm...1990 like mine...connections must be a little rusty or loose.
