    temp gauge

My odometer was broken... I just got a new cluster and swapped it out with the old one. The new ones temp gauge is all wacky. The temp gauge is past the center line on the new one, the old one was always before the center or right on. Am I overheating or did I plug something in wrong?

    thanks,

** Ps.. please excuse the typos, I just had a few drinks....

Tighten the nut that holds the temp gauge down to the conductor plate (on the back of the cluster) don't whang it... Just tight.

You may need to re-tin (solder) the ground contact in there as well but just try tightening it first.
