    Please Advise: Wire Colours

I just picked up a new Alpine deck and plan on installing it tomorrow. I plan on running all new speaker wires, but using the existing power/ground/dimmer wires (unless there is low power problems).
Does anyone know the colours for the existing power, ground, and dimmer wires? I have an 88 325is with premium sound. Any other suggestions/time-saving tips regarding the install would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

              Thanks guys,
I already have a multimeter. As I'm not exactly an expert in electronics, I was just looking for a little visual support via the wire colours.

UNHCLL, you just saved me alot of time, many thanks.

Brew, Ryan's diagram did the trick, but thanks for the offer.

I'll post some pics when I've got it all done.

my wires didn't match up with the online info, i would have been screwed without a multimeter. If you car ins't 100 percent stock, be careful with the wires. I also had xm power wires and a ton of other useless shit behind my deck. We were confused so we went to walmart and picked up a nice digital multimeter for 19 bucks- worth it.
