    Another premium rewiring question

I searched but just got more confused. Here's what I have - factory premium sound (all stock) w/ a 12" sub in the trunk (grabbing signal from rear speaker).

What I want to do: replace head unit, disconnect factory premium amp, use existing wiring and existing speakers. The sub will run off a sub output from the HU. Can I use the factory wiring if I remove/replace the factory amp?

Also, if I do have to rewire, do I need to rewire the tweeteers or will they continue to work if I just rewire the front door speakers?

Just to clarify - I know that I can't use the factory amp with a new HU, & I can't use factory wiringwith the factory amp & a new HU. What I'm not clear on is if I can use the factory wiring if I replace the amp. And if so, will the tweeters signal be correct, and grounded?

Any help or point-in-the-right-direction will be much appreciated.

You are looking at re-wiring everything. Forget about stock stuff. It really isn't that hard.

Sweet - thank you. Will the wiring from the mids to the tweeters stay the same?
