OK - I feel this is a stupid question (maybe I just don't understand the common ground thing):
I'm replacing my headunit. If I am OK (for now) with the power off the new deck, can i just pull the factory wiring from the factory amp (premium sound) and splice the inputs to the outputs, creating a single wire run from the deck to the speaker? Is there something painfully obvious I'm missing here?
Will the tweeters be getting the signal they want if the front door mids are now running off the deck?
