blaupunkt iphone charger for iphone?

I have a blaupunkt tokyo reciever with the ipod charger. I recently bought a iphone and wanted to use the same charger but found out it was not compatible with the iphone. I read some posts that said the old ipods charged at 10v where as the newer ipods charge at 5v. Is there anyway to change the voltage so I can still use the charger that hooks up to the reciever?

thanks for the link. I don't think it'll work through. Apparently the ipod cable doesn't play audio from the iphone, so I have to get a headphone jack cable. :( so much for that idea.

Wut. I'm not convinced that is correct. That scosche piece works with last years Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine...why would Blaupunkt be any different? Hmm...

If you have the Bpunkt ipod cable, that scosche bit should work fine on the ifone

yeah, not sure why the cable wont play audio from the iphone. Just doesn't work.
