Capcitors for tweaters?

How is stock tweaters hooked up?? is it connect to each side panel speakers or there is a cap. between them? cause my 84 didnt come with one and i want to install on in there. if so wat cap (fraud) should i get for them?

I'm pretty sure the tweeter is wired to the kick panel speaker. The kickpanel speaker should have a cap mounted to it that is for thr tweeter.

This is true for premium sound packages only.

Why bother with the premium tweeters? Remove them and put some good tweeters in thier place, and run a good crossover.

If i remember correctly from when they hooked up my shiat...

the tweeters are hooked up to the kick panel speakers so that it's like a crossover. If you hook it up wrong, one or both of them won't sound any, so that's kinda simple.

The crossover for the 'premium' tweeters is built onto the midrange driver. If you look at it you'll see a capacitor and a coil wrapped around the metal basket.

well my car didnt come with the premier sound pakage so am gonna have to put a cap betweeen the tweaters and the Side panels any ideas wat ratin cap i should go with?

Get as close to 9.9 * 10^-6 farads as you can.

Buy some crossovers. I have some for sale in the FS+WTB section.
