how do you Wire tweeters on premium speakers?

I have some premium that I bought and the tweeters need to be hooked back up. I still need to find a radio to hook the speakers to. But I wanted to get the tweeters working again. any ever done this before I have no idea where the wires are suposed to go.

If you look at the 5.25 there are four posts, the one with the small and large coil attached to it is the input, positive signal, you will see that the large coil goes around the speaker and is already attached to the driver, no further connection needed, the other output from the post goes through the smaller coil and is where you connect the tweeter +. The other post on the side where the large coil connects to the driver is a common ground for both tweeter and mid. If you look at it long enough it makes sense,
The tweeter wires should still be in your doors, I think they are both grey, one with a yellow stripe and the other with a green stripe, I can't remember which is plus and minus though.....

i think your color codes are correct. I also believe all cars are already wired for the premium sound. My 318is didn't come with premium but the wires were there and i just used those even for my aftermarket tweeters.

oh I guess I should have specified the tweeters I was talking about. I have the premium sound rear speakers. Thanks Woodisgood, thats what I was looking for I think I can figure it out, not to sure about it but I think I can get it. I actually completely forgot you could put tweeters in the front. Thanks for posting how to do that.

I will try and put pictures up of the thing I am talking about.
