    BMW Traffic AssistPro 4771

    I have the chance to buy a Becker/Harman 4771 BMW Traffic AssistPro . I would like to know if I will have any problems installing this unit in the E30 . I heard something about a speed sensor missing or something . I have no experience in this so I am asking you kindly to help me .Thank you !

              hmmm that's awesome and sad at the same time! I passed up a free one a month ago after listening to idiots that it wouldn't work....if you could get that link, it would be much appreciated!

                  pull the speed sensor off the back of the cluster and everything works perfectly.

                      What do you mean, I am trying to visualize it without having the unit in front of me...doesn't it need to know the speed to be functional?

                          the back of the cluster has several speed outputs open and availble from the factory via the green plug behind the speedo.

                                  My mechanic Peerless installed my traffic pro (see link). Speed sensor, reverse wire, antenna, all hooked up.
