    5-1/4 Shallow Mount Speakers!! HELP

Ok guys, so i have a 89 Cabrio. Im trying to change the speakers for this thing. The fronts are not a problem. The rears however are a pain in my ass! They are shallow mount because its cabrio and normal 5.25's dont fit in there. Anyone have any suggestions about where i can find speakers? Please let me know!

    Thanks

I've run 2 different kinds of random co-ax speakers I had laying around and both fit without any trouble. If you want me to grab a model # I can, but I don't think this is a particularly shallow fitment, you probably just can't run anything with a huge honkin coil.

I have fit quite a few different speakers in there. The stock PS mids do fit, but you have to pull the panel out and fit it in place while fitting the speaker at the same time.

Neither of those will work (^) both have WAY too much tweeter protrusion, and likely are too deep, too.

I put some infinity Kappa 4.25s in the back of my 92 vert. Pretty happy but would be happier if I could get a sub in the car that worked.
