Recommendations for measuring +10 amps current

I dont want to shell out 200 bucks for an amp clamp attachment to read DC voltage for my fluke. As it is I spent money for the AC amp clamp back in the day. If you use the meter in series its only good for 10 amps. Any ideas? Can I use one of those car amp meter gauges?

      A 30+ amp circuit.

Specifically SBF5 circuit controlling ECU and Fuel pump in a Bugeye WRX.

E36 is simple wiring. Third world engineering. Subaru is a lot better.
