e28 12 button obc

Is the 12 button obc out of a e28 the same as the one in the e30?

My now parts car e28 has the 12 button and my e30 only has the basic 6. can I swap the one out of my e28? (including the stalk and wiring?)

I'm not sure about the stalk and wiring, but the OBC itself will swap over fine. In theory the wiring should work as the E28 cluster has that same yellow connection

stalk should work too, ive put an e30 stalk in an e28 soooo...

everything from the e28, e24, e32 with regards to the obc will swap over fine. the wiring, stalk, and unit is the same. just remember to swap out the the 5/6/7 coding plug for yours
