    non audiophile setup suggestions ...

    i am not an audiophile and would rather spend money towards performance. having said that, i am in the market for audio equipment for my car considering the crappy radio stations and the sheer volume of music that can be carried around on a cd in mp3 format...

    i am looking for head unit with amber lighting with mp3 playback facility and decent speakers.

    arent subs kinda useless in anything other than a hatchback because the sound gets muffled up anyway?

    not looking to spend too much money.. suggestions are appreciated.

          How much are you looking to spend on speakers.... ???

          This is basically a plug because I am trying to unload some Infinity Kappa Coaxials I have. Never installed brand new, I think the plastic on everything is unopened I dont quite remember. If interested make me an offer on them.

          I also have Infinity Reference Components with the tweeters installed in the tweeter pods, never installed. You can make an offer if interested in those too.

          Not the greatest speakers out there, but I like the ones I have heard.

              Not all Clarion's allow for amber illumination, lower end head units are blue only. Make sure to check the specs before you buy.

                      Get the DXZ 645, 745 or the 845.
                      I got the 845. The 745 does offer more color choices.
