    Speakers cuttin out.

Ok well, i have two 12's that came with the car when i bought it and an amp. they worked fine until last night when my dad was driving my car and the all the speakers cut out. Well this morning i got the speakers to come on (all except the subs and the drivers front side) i duno what i did, i just wiggled a wire under the dash on accident, so i left it.

    ok heres the weird part.....

my subs only come on when i take a right turn and accelerate. Ive checked all my connections, as well as let a freind who installs sterios look at it. We are both mind boggled.

    any suggestions on anything?

I have no idea but that sound really funny. Best of luck, hope you figure it out. Maybe its the ground wire?

My grounds drilled into the trunk floor, works fine, just make sure its clean and free of paint and properly secure.

Are your speakers hooked up to the same amp as the sub?

        Sold it.

I would check under the dash. Either remote turn on, RCA's, or even the plug coming out of your deck (the stock harness that clips into the deck, I've had this problem)

fixed. it was the on off cable that connects to your amp telling it wo turn on when your key is in. the gauge was to small. i am the winner.

whatever size normal speaker whire comes in. I upgraded all my wire to 14g, and it works fine now.

I'm doubting it was the guage of the remote cable (standard is 24). I'm guessing there was a short somewhere in it.

Thats why I was wondering, I always run pretty small wires for remote cables.

Are you sure it isn't a short inside the amp?

                          Or the deck itself.
Only reason I keep repeating it is because I had the same problem and drove myself crazy trying to track it down, when the plug to the back of my deck just wouldn't get a good connection.

well its not the amp, it connection of the on/off from the head to the amp (white wire) i connected it to the red wire(always power on) and put a switch to turn it on/off so that it wont drain my new expensive batter. Doesnt bother me that much, i got my 4 speakers to work fine, and im seling my subs so the problem is fixed!
