I have a 10'' alpine type-r sub and a 780 watt pioneer amp in my trunk I think its hooked up with 8 gauge wiring which may be an issue for the power my setup is pushing.
I also have a new alpine deck. everytime I turn the volume up above 16 or 17 on the deck, when the sub hits my dash lights and headlights flicker pretty bad. I was thinking about getting a 2 farad cap from a buddy for 20 bux, but I'm thinking the wiring is too small of gauge for the power and grounds.
Any ideas?
