I hae a 4 channel amp that I want to hook up to my pioneer head unit to run my infinity speakers inside the car. But there are only 2 rca jacks on the back of teh stereo labled L and R. The amp is 4 channel so it has L and R for bith rear and front speakers but how do I hook the amp up to run all 4 speakers???

Y- adapters.

It's a cable that has ONE rca female input and TWO male rca outputs. It just splits the the cable into two. You'll need two of them obviously.Originally posted by bkelsey86

Run the RCAs from the deck back to the amp, not from the amp up to the deck. You can only use one pair of RCA cables. Put Y-adapters on the end of each of the rca cables. well I finished the install and ran all new speaker wire and mounted my amp under the passenger seat and it sounds great, big improvment...I'm glad my car came with Infinity refrences from the PO. Thanks for all the helpComment
