    no lights and blown fuses

oook not sure if its relivent but the car is a 88 325ic weilding an NV M50-B25 under her hat. now on to the story i came home and parked her at 1. everything was swell. at 5 i went to take somebody home, turn the key and no starter....:( no matter shes a 5 speed and i can push. sure enough a bump start helps her roar to life. so then off we go right? mmmmmmm no. i go to turn on the headlights (because fuck daylight savings thats why) and ive got nothing. no headlights. the passenger front marker light is gone. the dash says ive got highbeams on and both turn signals are stuck in the on position. if i try to work the switch for the high beams and it does nothing. it also lost power to the heater fan. if i poke my head under the hood fuse 20 is blown (30 amp). if i replace it i get the fan and starter back. that is if i can use them before the fuse explodes again... i told a freind about it and he suggested a bad ground. i honestly have no idea whats what when it comes to electrical. so any guidence is much appreciated.

    cheers.

      You need a voltmeter.

Report the battery voltage when the car is off, and what it reads while running.

My guess is that it's either really low, or above 14.5V when running.
