    Sub Question.

I'm planning on getting one of Luke's sub boxes at some point. I'm just trying to come up with a plan for now. The problem I'm seeing is that I don't have an arm rest rear seat. I suppose I could get such a seat but, MAN! look at my rear seat.

Kinda the same feelings I'm having about cutting my door cards.

My question is this. How bad will it be to fire that sub into the back of that foam filled seat with a cloth cover? What about cutting holes in the foam in the center?

John, I cut a couple inches of foam out of my sweeties car and found hardly any difference with seat in or out...after the trimming, of course.

And, for gods sake, don't cut those panels!

      Thanks for the reply Luke.

I'm gonna try them in the stock location first. PPI 5.25 components front and rear.

I like Luke's idea on the rear seat.
        That interior looks great.
        Dont mess it up.
I've tried the cutting up the door cards, and now I'm second guessing that idea.
My install is heading in a different direction.
        Leave the doors alone, IMO.

Let us know how Luke's box sounds with your solution.

            Rear seat

I cut all the foam out of the center section of the rear seat back. Mine is vinyl, so it has hundreds, if not thousands of those little tiny perforations that really aren't perforations, so I took pointy tools, for myself and my two daughters and we poked the pseudo perforations for a few hours, and made them REAL perforations. So, it's kinda like home made speaker cloth. It's flimsy, but I'm looking forward to hearing how it sounds. The car is a total restoration phase, so it will be summer, maybe, before I get to hear it. Hope to have the car done for Oktoberfest 2010 @ Road America, and hour north of me.
