I would not put to much true power to these. Your box is going to make or break this sub. Look for a 300 watt amp. make sure it has at least 40 amps worth of fuses and can go to 2ohm bridged and you will be fine.

2 ohm bridged? shouldnt it be 1 ohm bridged?

500-700 W RMS at 1 ohm should do him fine... get some random monoblock

        2 ohm bridge.

and just buy a walmart sony "explod" amp. like a 700w+

those arent expensive subs anyway so tha'd be the way i would go.

+1 but maybe have a little more power stored on the amp (800-1000wts), just in case they can actually handle the 600 wts RMS

when i heard them he said he was using a 1000 watt amp on them. they sounded crazy though. i usually don;t buy from anyone other then audiobahn but these were a good price and i was very impressed. then i got home and searched them on youtube and searched for reviews and found nothing but good stuff. he had them in a huge ported box.

you will not find a true 1 ohm amp cheap at a store. "It sounded good in a big ported box" and thats why he had them in that box. With a big box you don't need as much power to sound good.
