Odometer Broken! Need HELP!!

    Both the VDO and Motometer gears go bad. It appears that the grease used degraded the urethane, turning it wax-like. Both must have used the same supplier.

    Both use the same 12 tooth pinion on the motor shaft, and that's usually the first gear to fail.

      Soo it took me a while because it was raining but i finally took it apart. here is what i got, 3 REALLY screwed up gears that need to be replaced

          dude i found a perfect set @ pic a part....bought the whole cluster...got them home all happy...fuckers fell apart in my hand...

          when i get my 4 axis cnc im gona make a brass set and be done with it!
