    SUBWOOFER BOXES: Winter 2010 build

OK, guys, it is that time.

I am gonna do another box build.

Unfortunately, like I said last time the price has to go up, but not by much.

New price on the deluxe 10" box is $185 (less than I thought) and the normal box is NLA.

The 12" V2 deluxe (standard is also NLA) will also be available at $225, but I will build only 4 of these. The one is my wifes car is also available, as she will be dropping to a 10". Tells you something, don't it?

The 12 is still much bigger boom, but most people are entirely happy with a 10.

I will be moving shortly, both home and shop, to Olympia WA. This means no more woodwork until I find a suitable location, so this might be the last build for a while. I am gonna try and build a few to sell later, but every one I build generally is sold immediately, and it is much harder to build even a couple more.

Payment details are gonna change slightly too. I now would like to have you pay 100% of the box, and I will bill you for shipping as soon as it ships.

Since I have not been tracking the PMs regarding the last bunch of people wanting boxes PLEASE put "Winter box" in the title of any emails or PMs.

OK guys, tell me how many I have to make!

    Luke

Awesome, Im definitely going to need one.
Im just going to do a basic build, I can barely stand to listen to music anymore.

I'll probably get a 4ch, a 10" box, comps up front stock premium in the rear running off the hu. Its not much, but will be at least 1000x better.

A while back you were talking about a brand of inexpensive components, i wanna say like 60-80 for a set? Ring a bell?

I thought you got a set of those PPI separates...if you can't get something bad ass, just find a set of stock premium sounds. They sound great with even 25 watts per channel and a high pass filter.

                Bump for a sweet box!

Luke, any luck finding that old Phoenix Gold amp in the storage unit?

IIRC, you thought you possibly had a matching 2-channel for my Tantrum 600.4 on the shelves somewhere. No worries, I got my JL 250/1 back.

Do these boxes need the ski pass-through for them to work?

I'd love to get one of these, but the back seat I have right now doesn't have the pass-through. :(

Im definitely going to get some comps up front, I was thinking about Phoenix Gold R5.0COMP's, a RF p1 in ur box (i get em for 30$), a decent amp to run both. and my stock premiums in the rear running from the HU.

So when do you think the cutoff date for the order will be?

Oh yeah...I do have 2 of those, still back in Springfield. Keep in mind I have some serious forgetting abilities, so please remind me.

No, not really, but the ski pass is a HUGE improvement. I will tell you that the leather seat can be a real bitch to get decent sound through.
