    Grounding issue?

Ok guys, these problems started after a dashboard replacement that I just did last weekend. Ok the first issue happened the other day, where the top would not go down when I hit the switch. I don't know what I did but when I got home it worked and the top went up and down like nothing happened. Then today I was down in the underdash area where the pedals are and tapped spliced the red ignition wire to the alarm system. Anyways, right now I went to go test the soft top and nothing happened. I noticed my check panel said the rear lights and license plate lights were out. I go check and the passenger side rear light and plate lights were out. I check the fuses and fuse 23 was bad. I replaced that and all the lights worked. Once i pressed the down button on the switch for the top the lights went out and I blew fuse 23 again, along with 21, the interior lights went out. Anyways when I would press the down button the top wouldnt do anything, then about 10 seconds later it would go down by itself without me even pressing the switch. Is this a grounding issue? Thanks guys!

Ok, I am looking at the ETM right now and it seems as though the Electro-Mechanical convertible top use fuses: 23, 21, 25 and 4. So that would explain why when the lights are on and I press the top switch those fuses blow. Ok I am pretty sure its a grounding issue. Does anyone know which ground location the top uses? is it c100? is that even a ground, I can't really read these etm things but I am trying. Here it is:

Well I fixed it, thankfully haha. I went back underneath the steering wheel and unhooked the alarm from the ignition wire and everything worked without blowing fuses. I tapped spliced those two wires together and taped around the tap splicer to make sure the metal tooth wasnt sticking out and touching other wires. Now everything works. Thanks guys!
