So I'm driving along and all my speakers cut out. Whats up with that?

I just got a new JVC h/u installed yesterday and everything worked fine, besides that fact it sounded like shit because the stock speakers suck. Fast forward to 24 hours later and all of my speakers cut out while I was driving. Headunit is still on and looks to be working as it should. Oh and I don't have a stock amp. It was bypassed by the previous owner. Any ideas?

So is it possible that somehow all my speakers went bad at once? When I turn on the car I notice a slight muffled noise from the speakers then nothing.

Do you have basic or premium sound in your car? Premium stock speakers are actually pretty good! So you must have the basic stuff.

It's very unlikely that ALL 4 of your speakers went bad, most likely your Headunit....

Sounds like your HU is garbage, what is it exactly? Model? Who installed it?
Does it turn on? Does it work on FM?

Might be an install issue, now that you mentioned your premium sound amp was removed... did you re-use stock wiring? common ground or not?

Its a new JVC unit installed by Best Buy. The amp was bypassed by running new speaker wire from the headunit to the amp wiring. So after the amp all the stock wire is used.
