Whats the thoughts on a couple JL 6w3's in the rear deck?

Just curious what to do with my rear deck. I faded my music to the front as much as I could so I'm looking to take the rear speakers out completely as they seem a bit useless. Thanks

Why would you ask for advise on how to fit such a speaker into a car(a sub speaker). Then say you want no bass? Is it because you can't afford an FM radio and these speakers just so happened to be laying around so your going to use them cuase you can't afford the right ones for your particular listening preferance?

Luke was nice enough to; share insight, input and offer advise(as he usually does). Rather than hack up a car he even offered a box which would of probably been the best thing anyway. Less grief, no hacking, sound quality, the spring issues also come to mind.

Then you compare him to the B-Buy back door special, what a dick move that was.

Apparently nobody caught the sarcasm in the first couple sentences of my post. I even tried a smiley face to illustrate I was kidding. I've read all sorts of posts by "stereoinstaller" so I'm assuming he knows what he's talking about and based on the bandwagon he created here, that you all jumped on, then you must think the same way I do. Well it was meant to be taken lightly and as far as a contribution I believe I have made 2-3 comments offering advice. Since this is my 26th post I would say I have a fairly good percentage of posts offering help as opposed to others. I'm sure somebody out there has a sarcastic sense of humor who see's it from my side. I find immaturity causes most to be incapable of handling this type of humor, even immaturity amongst the more seasoned of us (stereoinstaller).

26 posts is a long way from Luke's hundreds of contributions(if not thousands) as a senior member here.

You know what I think I'll do....I think I'll try the Tangs but only because I want to:) I dig your box and I've read how well it functions but I don't want much bass and if I can get just a little by using the rear deck all the better for me. I listen to mostly conservative talk radio so I don't need bass unless I decide to switch over to the ipod. You know what though you stereo guys are all the same in the sense that whenever I talk about a little bass you try to sell me on more. I talked to a guy at Best Buy who does installs on the side and he instantly went to an over the top install that was going to cost 2400. I said dude that's 1k more than I paid for the car so no thanks. Great story right?
